Bio
DeadSound was formed by Vik Vega and Joseph Thorne in mid 2009
Vik – Influenced through his love of jungle music began producing in 1999 has played his jungle brand across the USA opening for the likes of Teebee, Klute and Dj Lee. With tuff jungle smashers released on Celestial Conspiracy and Urban Anarchy Vik thought it was time to experiment with the harder/darker type sounds of drum and bass.
Joseph Thorne having come from a Metal background came late into the scene of Dum and Bass. Having gone to a party just once he instantly fell in love with the sound and wanted to try his hand at producing. Through his influence in metal, Joseph got deeper into the harder and darker sounds of Drum and Bass.
While experimenting with both genres he came across Vik where the two instantly bonded with their love of the sound.
Thorough experimentation of hard drums, menacing basslines and evil atmospheres the two decided to form DeadSound.
With releases on Mindocracy Recordings and Ex Machina, DeadSound continue to brew their harder edge sound for the love of it all.
